Always thinking about Wilf...when we built butter boxes @ the mill for the creamery, digging seneca roots, spinning tires with my dads old truck, on the Melnyk driveway, throwing snowballs @ Podolsky' store & then running like hell, living in the attic on Wolesey Ave. of Portage. He had very mean fastball but batters were always ready to bail...no control which made him effective... was a very good athlete. We experienced many memories together growing up in Vita & I often think back about Wilfred & had visited his mom/dads grave site with a plaque of Wilfred. After my mom died, we discovered undeveloped negatives with a couple of Yard picture of Wilfred as a teen.....one on the lawn & one with a scooter he had.
